Overview
Salesforce.com dashboards are a useful feature for quickly and easily sharing company information amongst colleagues, including your management team. Dashboards allow users to see summarized information even if they don't have permission to access the underlying detailed data.
Zuora's Z-Force integration to Salesforce provides standard predesigned reports based on the billing and subscription information synchronized from Zuora to Salesforce. These reports can be used to build powerful custom dashboards that provide key insight into your subscription business.
Solution
To build dashboards with Z-Force, please follow the steps below:
- Log into your Salesforce.com account.
- Go to the Dashboards tab (at the top navigation) and click on the tab.
- If the Dashboard tab is not available on your tab bar, you can click on the + sign and select Dashboards from the list of tabs.
- Click on New Dashboard button to create a dashboard.
- Under the Components tab, there are different of dashboard types for you to choose from:
- Horizontal Bar Chart
- Vertical Bar Chart
- Line Chart
- Pie Chart
- Donut Chart
- Funnel Chart
- Gauge
- Metric
- Table
- Visualforce Page
- S-Control
- Select your desired dashboard type and drag it over to dashboard editing area on the right.
- On the left navigation, click on the Data Sources tab to pick a data source for your dashboard
- By default, Z-Force provides some data sources for you to choose from. Such data sources correspond to the standard predesigned Zuora Reports included in the Z-Force package. You can also create custom reports from the Zuora data and use those custom reports in a dashboard.
- Select a data source and drag it over to dashboard editing area on the right.
- In the event you receive an error, you need to either select a different dashboard type or a different data source and drag it over dashboard editing area and drop it on top of the error message.

- Once the data source has been applied to the dashboard, you can add a custom header, title, and footer by entering text into the Edit Header, Edit Title, and Edit footer fields.
- Click Save to save the dashboard.
- Add a Title to name your dashboard. The Dashboard Unique Name field will be automatically populated.
Click Save and Run Dashboard to save and generate the dashboard.
- The dashboard is now available to view. Any user who clicks on the Dashboard tab will be able to see this dashboard.

- The Customers report provides a view of a group of your customers or of all of your customers.
