How do I edit the CRM account ID for Z-Force?

Overview

Once you have used Z-Force 360 to synchronize your Z-Billing and Z-Payments data into Salesforce.com, you cannot change the CRM Account ID in Z-Billing (under the Customer Account) until you reset your Salesforce.com associations using the Salesforce Sync Clean Up.

The Salesforce Sync Clean Up removes all Z-Billing and Z-Payments data previously synchronized over to Salesforce.com. Simultaneously, the clean up resets your Salesforce.com associations so that you can now edit your CRM Account ID.

After updating the CRM Account ID, you can perform a Salesforce Sync to resync your data back into Salesforce.com.

Solution

To change the CRM Account ID in the customer account:

  1. In Zuora, select Settings > Z-Force Settings.
  2. Click Synchronize Salesforce.com Data.
  3. Under Salesforce.com Sync, select Accounts & Related Objects from the Sync list.
  4. Click Clean up.
  5. Navigate to Z-Billing > Customer Accounts, then use the Search (on the right) to search for the customer account for which you want to edit the CRM Account ID.
  6. Edit the CRM Account ID for the applicable customer account.
  7. Next, select Settings > Z-Force Settings.
  8. Click Synchronize Salesforce.com Data.
  9. Under Salesforce.com Sync, select Accounts & Related Objects from the Sync list.
  10. Click Sync
