Configure Navigation & Custom Pages

To configure your navigation and custom pages, complete the following steps:

  1. Select the Navigation & Custom Pages button

    The Navigation & Custom Pages screen displays, as illustrated below:

    By default, the Personal Information and Subscription Information preference centre navigation links are displayed.

  2. Select the Add a New Link button to add a new link in the navigation menu

    The Add a New Link dialog box displays, as illustrated below:

    To configure the link, complete the following steps:

    1. Enter the text that displays in the navigation menu in the Link Text text box
    2. Enter the address that the menu option links to in the URL text box
    3. Select the Save button to save the link and return to the Navigation & Custom Pages screen. Selecting the Cancel button displays the Navigation & Custom Pages screen without saving any changes

    If the end user selects a link from the navigation menu options, the linked information displays in a new tab.

  3. Select the Add a Custom Page button to add a custom page, which is linked from the navigation menu

    The Add Custom Page dialog box displays, as illustrated below:

    To configure the custom page, complete the following steps:

    1. Enter the text that displays as the title of your page and in the navigation menu in the Page Title Text/Navigation Link Text text box
    2. Enter the HTML that defines the custom page in the Custom HTML text box
    3. Select the Save button to save the link and return to the Navigation & Custom Pages screen. Selecting the Cancel button displays the Navigation & Custom Pages screen without saving any changes

    If the end user selects a custom page from the navigation menu options, the linked information displays in the preference centre page.

  4. Select the Save and Go Back button to save your changes and return to the configuration options screen. Selecting the Cancel button displays the configuration options screen without saving any changes

To re-order the navigation menu options, click and drag the field to the position at which you want it to display.

To edit the links or custom pages, select the three dots at the end of the row, then select Edit.

To delete the links or custom pages that you have added, complete the following steps:

  1. Select the three dots at the end of the row
  2. Select Delete

    A confirmation dialog box displays.

    If you are deleting a link, the confirmation dialog box displays as illustrated below:

    If you are deleting a custom page, the confirmation dialog box displays as illustrated below:

  3. Select the Yes! Delete button to delete the link or custom page. Selecting the Cancel button closes the dialog box without deleting the link or custom page
