URL Changes in Salesforce to Access Zuora Environments

The URLs to access the Zuora Production and Sandbox environments via API from Salesforce have changed. The following table lists the new URLs.

API Sandbox https://apisandbox.zuora.com https://apisandbox-zforsf.zuora.com

For both Zuora 360 and Zuora Quotes, you must the perform the following steps for the connectivity to work between Salesforce and Zuora:

  1. Enable the new Zuora host in the Salesforce Remote Site Settings.
  2. Update the Zuora 360 Connection Settings with the new URL entry.
  3. Update the Zuora Quotes Connection Settings with the new URL entry.

Make these changes by Friday August 22, 2104 to avoid any potential connection disruption.

The URLs to access the Zuora environments through UI have not changed, and you should continue using the existing UI URL to access the Zuora application.

Remote Site Settings

To add a new remote site:

  1. Navigate to SetupAdministration Setup > Security Controls.

  2. Click Remote Site Settings.

  3. On All Remote Site page, click New Remote Site.
  4. On Remote Site Edit page, enter a value in each field as below.

    • Remote Site Name:  Enter a descriptive name for this Zuora environment, such as Zuora_Prod.
    • Remote Site URL:
      • For the Zuora Production environment, enter: https://zforsf.zuora.com
      • For the API Sandbox environment, enter: https://apisandbox-zforsf.zuora.com
    • Description:  Enter any helpful descriptions.
    • Active: Check the box.
  5. Click Save.

Zuora 360 Connection Setup

To update the Zuora 360 connection settings:

  1. ​In your Salesforce org, click the current app and select Zuora 360 Sync.

  2. Click the Connection Setup tab.
  3. On the Zuora API Login Setup page, click Edit.
  4. In the Connection Settings section, update the Endpoint field. The Endpoint should be in the format, the following Zuora Environment URL followed by "/apps/services/a/" and the WSDL version. See the image below for an example.​
    • For connectivity to Production, replace "https://zuora.comwith "https://zforsf.zuora.com".
    • For Sandbox connectivity, replace "https://apisandbox.zuora.com"​ with "https://apisandbox-zforsf.zuora.com".

  5. If you are updating an existing setting only to update the endpoint URL, leave other fields as they are. 
  6. If you are configuring a new connection setting, see Configure Zuora 360 Connection Settings about filling in other required and optional fields.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Click Test Connection to verify the settings.

​​Zuora Quotes Connection Setup

To update the Zuora Quotes connection settings:

  1. In your Salesforce org, click the current app and select Zuora Quotes.

  2. Click the Zuora Config tab.
  3. On the Zuora Quotes Configuration Settings page, click Zuora Connection Settings.
  4. On the Zuora Connection Setting page, click Edit Settings.
  5. Update the API URL field. The URL should be in the format, the following Zuora Environment URL followed by "/apps/services/a/" and the WSDL version. See the image below for an example.
    • For connectivity to the Zuora Production environment, replace "https://zuora.com" with "https://zforsf.zuora.com".
    • For connectivity to the Zuora API Sandbox environment, replace "https://apisandbox.zuora.com" with "https://apisandbox-zforsf.zuora.com".

  6. If you are updating an existing setting only to update the API URL, leave other fields as they are. 
  7. If you are configuring a new connection setting, see Configure Quote Connection Settings for filling in other required and optional fields.
  8. Click Test Connection to verify the new setting.
  9. Click Save.
