Welcome to Zuora's updated product navigation system!
The August 2016 Release, R203, introduces an updated design for navigating the product that we hope will make your Zuora experience a bit easier and faster. See Zuora User Interface for more information.
Users accustomed to opening left navigation menu links in new browser tabs by right-clicking will notice that does not work in the new navigation menu. This is a known limitation that we are targeting to fix in the September release. In the meantime, as a work-around, a quick way to open a new Zuora tab or window in your browser is to right-click on the home link in the new breadcrumb menu. This will open up a new Zuora homepage from which you can navigate to your desired page.
No pages have been removed from the product with the new navigation system, but some have moved out of the left navigation into the Profile & Settings menu in the upper-right corner. If you can't find a page, use the table below to find its new location in the product.

A key component of the user interface rollout is the removal of the "Z-" prefix to all Zuora feature names. For example, what was previously named Z-Billing is now named Billing. This change is reflected in the user interface. However, removal of the "Z-" prefix and content reflecting the new navigation in the Zuora Knowledge Center is currently in progress and is expected to take several releases to complete.
Zuora Quotes and Zuora 360 will be updated to remove the "Z-" prefix. Among other changes, the "Send to Z-Billing" menu button will be changed to "Send to Zuora". Look for these changes in the upcoming release of Zuora 203, Zuora Quotes 7.3.1, and Zuora 360 3.3.1.
Weekly billing is now available to all Zuora users. You can now bill your customers weekly or every few weeks.
To bill weekly, define the following options:
Weekly billing options are available from the Zuora UI, SOAP API, REST API, and data sources.
In the SOAP API, REST API, and data sources, the WeeklyBillCycleDay field specifies which day of the week your billing period starts.
|Field||REST API||SOAP API||Data Source|
You can set weekly billing options using the following fields in the REST API and SOAP API.
|Field||REST API||SOAP API|
To enable weekly billing, from the Profile & Settings menu, select Billing > Define Billing Periods. Weekly billing options are available in the following sections:
You can also prorate recurring or usage charges for partial weeks. From the Profile & Settings menu, select Billing > Billing Rules. The following billing rules are available:
See Define Billing Rules for more information.
You can now specify the invoice date for scheduled bill runs. This added flexibility lets you create scheduled bill runs that generate future-dated invoices. Previously, the invoice date in scheduled bill runs was automatically set to the bill run date and could not be changed.
This feature is currently only available when creating scheduled bill runs from the Zuora UI.
See Creating Bill Runs for more information.
Now you have more control when cancelling invoice item adjustments with the new Cancel Invoice Item Adjustment without Validation permission. The permission controls which users can cancel invoice item adjustments, even if doing so causes the invoice balance to:
By default this permission is disabled for the Zuora Billing Standard User role.
See Billing Roles for more information.
If you imported a Translation Profile file that contained newline characters and then exported the file, newline characters were replaced with “\n” in the exported file. Now when you import a Translation Profile, newline characters are removed automatically, so the issue no longer occurs.
Latest WSDL version: 79.0
See Zuora WSDL for information on how to check your version and download the latest version.
SOAP API Change History
See Zuora SOAP API Version History for a summary of updates made to the SOAP API in recent Zuora releases.
Please read this important note before using WSDL version 69 or later.
In WSDL 68 and earlier, 56 Zuora SOAP API date fields are treated as dateTime fields. As of WSDL 69, Zuora will treat these fields as date only fields. These fields are no longer compatible with dateTime values. Date and dateTime values in WSDL 69 are now the same as date and dateTime values in the Zuora application.
Before downloading and using WSDL 69, check to see if your SOAP integration passes or receives dateTime values to or from any of these fields.
The AQuA API is also affected by these date field changes. If you use the AQuA API, you must review the date field changes and take the appropriate action.
See Date Field Changes in the WSDL for more information.
