Retaining Mandates

Automatic Cancellation of Mandates

If a merchant (you) has not debited the customer's account for 13 months or longer, the mandate may be automatically canceled by the customer's bank and become invalid. Zuora and Ingenico ePayments will always assume the merchant is in possession of a mandate that is current, per the requirements of the applicable country for which the direct debit account is located.

Storing Mandate Information in Zuora

You can store the mandate information in Zuora. The following is an example of a direct debit payment method stored in Zuora:
