Starting May 2019, we are including Zuora Reporting release notes in the "Reporting and Dashboard" section of Zuora Billing release notes. See Zuora Release Notes for links to the latest Zuora Billing release notes.

Zuora Reporting provides an easy and intuitive way to create reports so you can use your Zuora data more effectively. Zuora Reporting is a fully-integrated analytics solution that provides a comprehensive view into the financial and operational health of your subscription business.

Zuora Reporting is included in the Zuora platform at no additional cost.

Zuora Reporting 1.30 Release Notes

  • When saving a report, you can now choose to make the report read-only. If you share a read-only report, only you will be able to modify the report. See Folders and Sharing for more information.

  • Each standard report is now available as a summary report and as a detail report. See Standard Reports for more information.

  • Data sources in Reporting contain the latest objects and fields that are available when generating a data source export.

Zuora Reporting 1.29 Release Notes

  • If you have the Advanced AR Settlement feature enabled, Zuora Reporting now provides standard reports to help you report on billing outcomes, billing drivers, and cash outcomes. The following new standard reports are available:

    • Credit memos over time
    • Debit memos over time
    • Credit memos by customer account over time
    • Credit memos by reason code over time
    • Debit memos by customer account over time
    • Debit memos by reason code over time
    • Credit memo application items over time
    • Payment application items over time
    • Refund application items over time
    • Unapplied payment amounts over time

  • When Zuora Reporting sends the results of scheduled reports, the emails now come from scheduled-report-notification-no-reply@zuora.com. Previously, Zuora Reporting sent scheduled report results from support@zuora.com. See Schedule Report Runs for more information.

Zuora Reporting 1.28 Release Notes

  • If you have the Order Metrics feature enabled, Zuora Reporting now provides standard reports to help you report on booking outcomes and drivers. (If you have the Orders feature enabled, you already have the Order Metrics feature enabled.) The following new standard reports are available:

    • Total Net MRR
    • Total MRR Changes (in Last Month)
    • Net MRR by account
    • Net MRR by product
    • Total Contracted Billing (TCB)
    • TCB Changes
    • Total Extended List Price (ELP)
    • ELP Changes
    • Total Order Quantity by Unit of Measure

    Additionally, the following data sources are now available:

    Order Elp Part of the Order Metrics feature.
    Order Item Part of the Order Metrics feature.

    These data sources are only available if you have the latest version of Order Metrics.

    If you have the Order Metrics feature enabled prior to March 2018, you can submit a request at Zuora Global Support to migrate the Order Metrics to the latest version.

  • The standard Revenue reports are now only available if you have the Zuora Finance - Revenue feature enabled. Previously, the standard Revenue reports were visible for all customers, but only usable if Zuora Finance - Revenue was enabled.

Additionally, the following data sources have been updated:

  • Discount Applied Metrics - The objects available in Zuora Reporting now match the objects that are available when generating a data source export.
  • Invoice - The Bill To Contact Snapshot and Sold To Contact Snapshot objects are now available.
  • Invoice Item - The Bill To Contact Snapshot and Sold To Contact Snapshot objects are now available.

To use the Bill To Contact Snapshot and Sold To Contact Snapshot objects, you must enable the Preserve snapshot of bill-to and sold-to contacts when billing documents are posted? billing rule.

Zuora Reporting 1.21 Release Notes

Summary reports can now display totals that rollover from one column to the next. For example:

The summary report's columns must be a sequence of dates.

To enable this feature, click Reporting_Settings_Button.png Settings at the top right of the report builder, then select Enable Rolling Totals. See Create a Summary Report for more information.
