Using the Configurable Lockbox Feature

After configuration, the Configurable Lockbox app is ready to be used as follows:

  1. Understanding the homepage
  2. Upload the lockbox file manually
  3. View lockbox run details

Understanding the Homepage

After completing the configuration settings, you are navigated to the homepage of the app. The homepage will display all uploaded lockbox files and their status. To edit the configuration details, select Configure in the upper left.

Upload the Lockbox File Manually

Once an app instance has been configured for a specific bank file-type, all bank specific lockbox files should be loaded into that instance. A new app instance should only be created if there is a new bank lockbox file being used.

Navigate to the Homepage > Upload to add a new lockbox file and process payments. File will show Finished in the ‘Status’ column when complete. If the ‘Duration’ column shows processing, select the refresh button. Files may take a few minutes to complete depending on file size.

View Lockbox Run Details

Every run will generate a detailed report of all processed files during the run.

  1. Once a run has finished, select More Details of the run to view the report.

  2. A run report will display details including:

    • File Records Processed - Number of file records processed in the run.
    • Payment Created - Number of payments created in the run.
    • Generate Failed - Create a file of all failed invoice payment from the lockbox file.

  3. To further investigate the details of a particular payment, select More Details.
