Overview

In the Scheduling screen, configure how frequently the sync should run once activated.

Schedule Properties

When you set up your Integration for the first time, it is provisioned as a time-based trial. During the trial period, you must run the sync manually. When you are ready to activate the sync, contact Zuora sales to remove the trial restrictions and allow the sync to run automatically, according to the configured schedule.

To add a schedule, click Add and set the schedule properties to create a schedule for the synchronization process.

Minute/Hour/Day Schedule Types

Configure the Minute/Hour/Day schedule types to process the sync automatically, based on the interval that you specify and that days on which you want the sync to occur.

Zuora recommends that you configure your schedules to use the Minute, Hour, or Day types.

Property Description
Type Select one of the following:
  • Minute: Run the sync process between the specified times, with an interval from 1 to 30 minutes. Zuora recommends that you set this to a value greater than 1 to avoid overlapping sync schedules.
  • Hour: Run the sync process between the specified times, with an interval from 1 to 12 hours.
  • Day: Run the sync process at the specified time, with an interval from 1 to 14 days.
Start Time Specify a time to begin the sync process. The process will repeat at the specified Interval value.
End Time For Minute and Hour schedules, set a time to end the sync process for the day.
Interval Specify the amount of time to wait between sync processes. You can select from 1 to 30 minutes, 1 to 12 hours, or 1 to 14 days.
Days Select the days during which you want the sync process to run.

If a scheduled sync process is in progress when the next sync process is scheduled to run, the second sync process will be canceled. The NetSuite Integrations Manager will send a warning message to the log file indicating that the second process was skipped. You can either wait for the next scheduled sync process, or you can run the execution manually.

Advanced Schedule Type

Use the Advanced schedule type if you need to create a sync schedule based on specific dates, including the years, during which you want the sync process to run.

Zuora recommends that you use the Minute, Hour, and Day schedule types.

Property Description
Minutes Specify a time to begin the sync process, and the interval, in the format minute/interval. Specify a value from 0-59 for the minutes, where 0 is the first minute of the hour (for example, 1:00pm) and

59 is the last minute of the hour (for example, 1:59pm). Specify an interval, in minutes, after a forward slash (/). For example, to run the sync at the 30 minute mark of the hour, with an interval of 15 minutes, set the value to 30/15.

Hours Specify the hour to begin the sync process, as a number from 0 to 23. The number 0 indicates 12:00am (midnight), and 23 is 11:00pm.
Days of Week Specify the day or days of the week to run the sync. The number 1 indicates Sunday, 2 is Monday, 3 is Tuesday, etc., and 7 is Saturday. You can specify a single day or multiple days, separated by commas. For example, to run the sync from Monday to Friday, inclusive, specify 2,3,4,5,6.
Days of Month Specify the day or days of the month to run the sync, and the interval between sync processes, in the format day/interval. The number 1 (or 0) indicates the first day of the month, and 31 is the last possible day. Specify an interval, in days, after a forward slash (/). For example, to run the sync on the tenth day of the month, with an interval of five days, set the value to 10/5.
Months Specify the months in which you want to run the sync process. You can specify the months as a comma-separated list (for example: 1,2,3,7,8,9), or enter an asterisk (*) to specify all months of the year.
Years Specify the standard years in which you want to run the sync process. You can specify the years as a comma-separated list (for example: 2011,2012,2013), or enter an asterisk (*) to specify all years.

If a scheduled sync process is in progress when the next sync process is scheduled to run, the second sync process will be canceled. The NetSuite Integrations Manager will send a warning message to the log file indicating that the second process was skipped. You can either wait for the next scheduled sync process, or you can run the execution manually.
