User Attributes

User Attributes represent the type of information that you can capture for your end users. They form the building blocks for your registration forms and paywalls.

User Attributes are used in the following ways:

  • On a user’s Identity page, where you can see the information that they have provided
  • In registration and data capture forms, where they are available as fields that you can add to your form
  • In rules, where they can be used to segment users based on the information that they have provided

Zephr stores some information by default, so you won’t need to add these fields as user attributes. The default information is as follows:

  • Email address
  • Username
  • Date of registration
  • Zephr, or user, ID
  • Tracking ID

You can include any additional information that you want to store for your end users. For example, their First and Last Names, Country, Job Title, or Favourite Colour.

The defined User Attributes are included in the User Profile. For further information on managing your users, see the Users section.
