Manage product features
To create features in the product catalog and use them in subscriptions and Zuora Quotes, you need to enable the following:
- The Entitlements setting in your tenant.
Access to the Entitlements feature requires a specific edition of Zuora. See Zuora Editions for details. - The Enable Feature Specification in Product and Subscriptions setting in the Billing Settings.
Add a feature to a product
To add a feature to a product, complete the following steps:
- Navigate to Products > Product Catalog in the left-hand navigation section.
- On the All Products page, click the product you want to update.
- In the Product Features section, click + add new feature.
- Select the features you want to add to this product. If you have many features, use the Search field to narrow down your selection.
The maximum number of features that a product can have is 100. - Click add selected feature(s).
Remove a feature from a product
To remove a feature from a product, complete the following steps:
- Navigate to Products > Product Catalog in the left-hand navigation section.
- Click the Products tab.
- On the All Products page, click the product you want to update.
- In the Product Features section, click Remove for the feature you want to remove.
- Click Yes to confirm.
Edit a custom field on a product feature
To edit a custom field on a product feature, complete the following steps:
- Navigate to Products > Product Catalog in the left-hand navigation section.
- On the All Products page, click the product you want to update.
- In the Product Features section, click Edit Custom Fields.
- Edit the custom field and click save.
