Payments
Support for stored credential transactions
Zuora now supports stored credential transactions for credit card payment methods. Stored credential transactions enable you to indicate if transactions involve payment credentials that are stored on file. This can increase authorization approval rates.
As of this release, the support for stored credential transactions is limited to:
- Credit card payment methods for Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.
Zuora supports stored credential transactions in accordance with the Stored Credential Transaction framework from Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.
- The following payment gateways:
- Adyen Integration v2.0
- Chase Paymentech Orbital Gateway
- CyberSource, Payment API v2.0 Gateway
- First Data Payeezy Gateway
- Ingenico ePayments Gateway
- Vantiv (Now Worldpay) Payment Gateway
- Vantiv Payment Gateway, API v8.10
- WorldPay 1.4 Payment Gateway
More details are included in Support for stored credential transactions overview.
To use stored credential transactions in a compliant way, you must establish a consent agreement with each of your customers. Zuora does not provide assistance with this. Instead, Zuora enables you to create and manage stored credential profiles within payment methods. You can do this through the Zuora UI, REST API, SOAP API, or Payment Pages 2.0.
To learn more details about stored credential transactions, see Stored credential transactions for more information.
Seller Transaction Note is now configurable in Amazon Pay gateway
In the Amazon Pay gateway integration, you can now configure the seller transaction note that will be sent to your customers when a fund is captured. A new field called Seller Transaction Note is available in the Amazon Pay gateway configuration page. Enter a description of the transaction in this field, and this message will be sent to the buyer in emails when the payment is settled.
See Amazon Pay Gateway for more information.
GoCardless gateway integration now supports PAD
Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) is a scheme used to collect Direct Debit payments from customers in Canada. Zuora’s GoCardless payment gateway integration now provides support for PAD transactions.
See GoCardless Gateway for more information.
