Billing

Default Value Changes for New Bill Runs

Starting from this release, when you create bill runs through the Zuora user interface, the following fields on the New Bill Run page and on the New Scheduled or Recurring Bill Run page have new default values.

  • The From Batch field is set to Specific Batch, Batch 1 by default.
  • The Automatically renew auto-renew subscriptions that are up for renewal check box is checked by default.

These new default values can help reduce potential billing errors. Zuora recommends that you keep default values for the above-mentioned fields when creating bill runs.

Enhancement for Unposting Posted Billing Documents

The Billing user permission "Cancel Posted Invoices" is now called “Cancel Posted Billing Documents”. This permission now controls whether to unpost posted billing documents, including invoices, credit memos, and debit memos.

By default, you can unpost billing documents in Posted status through the Zuora user interface and API.

For more information, see Billing Permissions and Unpost Credit and Debit Memos.

Payments

Apple Pay Supported on CyberSource Payment API v2.0

The CyberSource, Payment API v2.0 integration now supports Apple Pay. You can create an Apple Pay payment method and process corresponding payments using your CyberSource v2.0 instance Previously, creating an Apple Pay payment method or processing an Apple Pay payment was only supported by the Chase Orbital payment gateway integration in Zuora.

Platform

New Home Page for Easier Navigation

The home page you see when you log in to the Zuora user interface has a new design to help you access key tasks. With the new home page, you can quickly start creating a new account or subscription, view your invoices or payments, and much more.
