Zuora Quotes Versions < 8.0
This article describes the current deprecation policy for Zuora CPQ legacy versions.
Deprecation policy
This policy will only affect you if you are on the following versions:

Zuora Quotes Versions < 8.0

6.54, 6.61, 7.1.1, 7.1.2, 7.1.3, 7.3, 7.31, 7.32, 7.4, 7.43, 7.44

This policy will take full effect on October 31, 2023. At that point, any customers who are still using these versions will be required to upgrade to version 8 or higher. As a best practice, it is recommended to upgrade to the latest version of CPQ; however, the minimum requirement is to upgrade to at least 8.0.
Upgrading can be done in stages within the timeline that makes sense for your organization to allocate resources to testing the upgrades in Sandbox Orgs before upgrading Production Orgs. Please see the schedule below for a full explanation of the timeline.
Upgrade paths
We recommend that you upgrade to the latest packages of Zuora Quotes. The package upgrades are designed to be as self-service and backward compatible as possible, but if you have heavy customizations needing technical expertise, contact your Zuora Customer Success Manager or Zuora Global Support, who can best advise you on resources you can leverage, including Zuora Services.

Deprecation schedule
| March, 2023 |
Support starts proactive communication to the customers on the affected versions to be deprecated. The policy announcement is sent to all Zuora Quotes Customers who are on versions < 8.0. |

| June, 2023 | A general reminder is sent to all customers of impacted versions about the timeline and the package links. |
| August 1st, 2023 | A reminder is sent to all customers on versions < 8.0 of the pending deprecation date. |

October 31st, 2023 |
The installation links for the affected versions are removed. Zuora will officially deprecate Zuora Quotes versions listed above and those versions will no longer be operable. |
Check the current version
To check the currently installed version, complete the following steps:
- In Salesforce, navigate to Setup > Installed Packages.
- Check the version numbers for the Zuora Quotes package
