Manage Products in Quotes
The Microsoft CPQ gives you high flexibility to configure products for quotes. The following list provides the typical use cases to manage products in a quote:
- Add a product
- Update a product
- Remove a product
Manage Products
Add a product
To add a product to a subscription:
- In the product selection area on the Quote page, click Add Zuota Product.
- Find the product you want to add to the subscription, hover over the product, and select the check box.
- Click Add To Quote. The selected product is then added to the subscription.
- Click Save at the top right of the Quote Studio page.
Update a product
To update the price or charge details for a subscription to be effective from a specific date, take the following steps:
- In the product selection area on the Quote page, find the product you want to update, then click Edit.
- In the resulting Quote line screen, update the quantity, discount, or price of the new charge item as needed.
- Click Save at the top right of the Quote Studio page.
Remove a product
To remove a product from a quote take the following steps:
- In the product selection area on the Quote page, select the product you want to remove.
- Click
and select Delete Quote Line. The Confirm Product Removal dialog opens.
- Click Delete to remove the product.
- Click Save at the top right of the Quote Studio page.
