Limitations and Known Issues

Zuora is aware of the following limitations and issues with the dashboard:

  • The Zuora Dashboard is limited to tenants with 50,000 or fewer customer accounts.
  • The Zuora Dashboard is not available in Production Copy Environments.
  • The Net MRR/ARR and MRR/ARR Changes subscription metrics do not reflect price changes on renewals. When Zuora calculates these subscription metrics, Zuora considers the change in MRR/ARR of a renewal with a non-zero price change to be 0. This issue means that you may see incorrect values for Net MRR/ARR and MRR/ARR Changes if you structure your orders as ramp deals.
  • The MRR/ARR Changes subscription metric does not reflect changes to terms and conditions of subscriptions.
  • The starting MRR for a given Subscription Owner Account used to compute Business Impact in the MRR/ARR Changes metric does not include prior MRR acquired via an Owner Transfer amendment.
  • The MRR/ARR Changes subscription metric does not have individual categories for suspend and resume; as a consequence of this, recurring revenue changes due to suspending or resuming a subscription are reflected in other Business Impact categories (eg. Resume may appear as New Business or Expansion, Suspend may appear as Churn or Contraction, etc.) according to the logic of each category described in the Calculation of Key Subscription Metrics article.
  • For Multi-Entity customers, there can be one Dashboard available per Entity. Each Dashboard provides data only within a single entity; there is no data roll-up or visibility across entities.
  • For metrics whose groups are non-summable, you are able to select column chart types. However, Zuora strongly recommends that you select line chart types for the following metrics:
    • Average ARR Per Subscriber
    • Average MRR Per Subscriber
    • Subscriber Churn Rate
  • The Zuora Dashboard does not support Microsoft Internet Explorer. Zuora recommends you use Chrome, Firefox, or Edge.
  • Editing or deleting Zuora custom fields used by Cards can result in Zuora Dashboard page load errors. If you plan to edit (or remove) an existing Zuora custom field that is currently used as filter criteria in at least one card, you will need to first remove and save that criteria from your card(s), make your custom field edit, and then wait one day (for nightly data processing) before adding the criteria back to your card. Please contact Zuora Support if you need any assistance in this process.
