Connect Salesforce

In Settings, you can connect your Insights tenant to Salesforce to enable outbound synchronization of data from Insights to Salesforce.

  1. Ensure your Insights tenant is set up to ingest data from Salesforce. This setup would have occurred during your Insights implementation. If your tenant is not ingesting data from Salesforce, but you are interested in adding it, please contact Zuora Global Support who will route you to an appropriate Zuora team member to discuss and plan this upgrade to your Insights tenant.

  2. Log in to your Salesforce account.

    You can have a maximum of four Insights streams connected to your Salesforce organization via a single Salesforce account. To avoid this limitation, Zuora recommends that you log in to Salesforce using a different account for each Insights stream that you connect to your Salesforce organization.

  3. In another browser window log in to Insights.

  4. Go to Settings > Salesforce Integration and click Connect.

Your part is done. You have authorized Insights to read and write data to your Salesforce organization. You can retract this permission at any time from Insights Settings > Salesforce Integration > Manage Connection > Disconnect, but once disconnected, Insights will not be able to query and integrate your data for your use.
