Migrate all existing payment methods for stored credential transactions
To ease the process of enabling stored credential transactions for all existing credit card and Apple Pay payment methods in your tenant, Zuora provides a payment setting called CIT/MIT Configuration. With this setting enabled, you can migrate all credit card and Apple Pay payment methods from the following card brands in your tenant to comply with the Stored Credential Transaction framework:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- Discover
- American Express
- JCB
- Diners Club
Noted that stored credential transactions are supported for Apply Pay payment methods only on CyberSource v2.0 integrations.
Prerequisites
Ensure that your customers have given their consent for their payment credentials to be stored on file before enabling the CIT/MIT Configuration setting.
Enable CIT/MIT Configuration
To migrate all existing payment methods:
- In your Zuora tenant, navigate to Settings > Payments > CIT/MIT Configuration.
- Click edit.
- Select the Enabled check box for the card brand you want to migrate. A warning message is displayed.
- Select the check box for the warning message and click confirm.
- Click save to save the configuration.
After this setting is enabled, Zuora will send all subsequent payments as stored credential transactions to the payment gateway if the gateway supports stored credential transactions.
