Create a new payment gateway instance

Before Zuora can process payments that comply with a stored credential transaction framework, you may need to create a payment gateway instance that supports stored credential transactions.

For example, if you use the Chase Paymentech Orbital Gateway, you must create a new payment gateway instance based on the “Chase Paymentech Orbital Gateway” gateway version; the “Chase Paymentech Orbital Gateway, API v7.0.1” gateway version does not support stored credential transactions.

To create a new payment gateway:

  1. Identify a gateway version that supports stored credential transactions. See Payment gateways for the list of gateways that support stored credential transactions.
  2. Contact Zuora Global Support to request access to the gateway version in your Zuora tenant.
  3. Create a payment gateway as usual. See Setting Up Payment Gateways for more information.

When you create the payment gateway, ensure that you set the Gateway Type to the gateway that Zuora Global Support enabled in step 2.
