Order Line Item object and fields available in HTML templates

You can now configure HTML templates to display information about all the fields of the Order Line Item object, including custom fields.

For example, you can first use the Data Table component to build a charge details table in a template. Then, you can add columns by selecting the Order Line Item object and its fields like Amount, Description, and so on.

Skip function available in HTML templates

When configuring HTML templates, you can now use the Skip function to skip the processing of N records and return the remaining records after N records are skipped. 

With the Skip function, you can implement advanced use cases such as displaying a fixed layout on the first page. For example, you can configure this function to display a fixed number of records, followed by a payment slip at the bottom of the first page. Meanwhile, the remaining records are displayed on the following pages.

Prepaid Balance Fund object and fields available in HTML templates

If you are using the Prepaid with Drawdown feature, you can now display the Prepaid Balance Fund object in HTML templates. All fields of the Prepaid Balance Fund object are available when you access this object through the RatePlanCharge object.

Support for ignoring Pending status for workflows

Workflows are now placed into the Pending status if there are pending tasks during execution, such as the Approval Task, Delay Task, and Callout Task Retry.

Since this new functionality may change behavior for existing workflows, the Ignore Pending Status option is introduced. If you’ve set a workflow to ignore the Pending status, the workflow status switches to Finished and the On Finish branch could execute multiple times for each occurrence of pending tasks moving to the Success or Error status. As a result, this could also create unwanted success or failure notifications.

The Ignore Pending Status option is checked for all the existing workflows, and it is not checked for new workflows by default.

You can update this setting for a workflow version under the Main > Runtime section on the Settings page of the workflow version.

Support for Configuration Templates in Deployment Manager

We now provide new feature called Configuration Templates in Deployment Manager. With Configuration Templates, you can now configure your tenants in minutes by importing a Templated Metadata Configuration File. Using configuration templates, you can simplify manual configuration processes that previously took hours to complete manually. Also, you can combine, validate, deploy, release, redeploy and release efficiently.
