Revenue accounting codes available in creation or edit of standalone invoices

When creating or updating standalone invoices through the Zuora UI, you can now use the following fields to configure revenue accounting codes for each invoice item:

  • Contract Asset: the accounting code for contract assets
  • Adjustment Liability: the accounting code for adjustment liability
  • Contract Liability: the accounting code for contract liability
  • Recognized Revenue: the recognized revenue accounting code associated with the invoice item
  • Unbilled Receivables: the accounting code for unbilled receivables
  • Adjustment Revenue: the accounting code for adjustment revenue

These fields are available only if you have Zuora Finance and Billing - Revenue Integration enabled. 

Merge Field component available in HTML invoice templates

In the HTML invoice template editor, you can now create merge fields by dragging and dropping the predefined Merge Field component into the HTML template. 
After clicking the Merge Field block, you can configure merge fields in any of the following approaches:

  • From the Merge Field list, select an object or a field as a merge field. 
  • Set Advanced Options to on, and then customize a merge field in the text box.

The merge fields configured by using the Merge Field component are displayed in a compact manner in the template.

Usage Details component available in HTML invoice templates

In the HTML invoice template editor, you can now add usage details tables by dragging and dropping the Usage Details component with predefined table configurations and common merge fields.

Support for disabling merge field code display in HTML invoice templates

In the HTML invoice template editor, you can now disable displaying merge field code details for the Data Table component and other predefined table components.

When you set Show Merge Field Code to off, the merge fields in tables are displayed in a compact manner in the template.

Two levels of list objects available for Data Table component in HTML invoice templates

In the HTML invoice template editor, the Data Table component now supports two levels of list objects. For example:

  • All list objects under the InvoiceItem list, including ProcessedUsage, TaxationItem, and so on
  • All list objects under the Account object, including the list of invoices, credit memos, debit memos, and so on

Support for migrating custom object records using Deployment Manager

When you create or update a custom object definition through the Zuora UI or API, you can now specify whether Deployment Manager migrates custom object records. For information about creating and updating custom object definitions through the Zuora UI, see Custom object definitions.

By default, Deployment Manager does not migrate custom object records when migrating custom object definitions between tenants.

If you enable the Migrate Records setting for a custom object definition, Deployment Manager migrates custom object records along with the custom object definition.

The Migrate Records setting is available as a field called enableRecordMigration in the following REST API operations:

Support for field comparison in filter statements of Export ZOQL

Filter statements of Export ZOQL now support comparing Zuora fields using binary operators. You can use the field comparison syntax to build filters for your Export ZOQL queries.
