Support for New Currency Venezuelan Bolivar Soberano

Zuora now supports the new currency Venezuelan Bolivar Soberano, with the ISO 3-Letter Currency Code of VES. The details about the currency are stipulated as follows in ISO 4217 Amendment Number 166.

  • Entity: Venezuela (Bolivarian Republic of)
  • Alphabetic code: VES 
  • Numeric code: 928
  • Minor unit: 2

You can import custom currency exchange rates for conversion between VES and other currencies. If you want to integrate services with third-party tax engines or payment gateways, contact the corresponding third party to confirm whether the currency VES is supported.

We have updated the following Knowledge Center articles based on your feedback:

  • Supported Payment Methods: Improved the mapping table of the payment gateways and corresponding supported payment methods by correcting inaccurate mapping relations, adding missing payment gateways, and detailing supported credit cards.
  • PayPal Express Checkout Gateway: Added an "API Version" section to illustrate that you will use the PayPal Name-Value Pair (NVP) of the PayPal classic API when implementing the PayPal Express Checkout.
