Disable communication profiles

This article describes how to disable or enable communication profiles. After a communication profile is disabled, Zuora no longer triggers email or callout notifications in this profile.

Prerequisites

Before disabling or enabling communication profiles, you need to open the Notifications page by performing the following steps:

  1. Click your username in the upper right of the Zuora UI.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Billing, Settings > Finance, Settings > Payments, or Settings > Administration.
  3. Click Setup Profiles, Notifications and Email Templates.

Disable a communication profile

To disable a communication profile, take the following steps:

  1. From the View Profile list, select the communication profile you want to disable.
  2. Click Edit in the Basic Information section.
  3. Select the Mute checkbox.
  4. Click Save.

After a communication profile is disabled, you can find a silent bell icon muted.png to the right of the profile name.

Enable a communication profile

To enable a communication profile, take the following steps:

  1. From the View Profile list, select the communication profile you want to enable.
  2. Click Edit in the Basic Information section.
  3. Clear the Mute checkbox.
  4. Click Save.

After a communication profile is enabled, you can find a ringing bell icon unmuted.png to the right of the profile name.

Disable or enable all communication profiles

On the Notifications page, you can disable or enable all communication profiles with one click.

To disable or enable all communication profiles, click Mute All or Unmute All on the Notifications page. Then, you can find all communication profiles are disabled or enabled.
