Step 4: Publish Chart of Accounts
Once you have completed Steps 1 through 3 of the Chart of Accounts configuration, including GL Segmentation, Accounting Code Setup, and Associating Accounting Codes with Transaction Types, you will need to publish your Chart of Accounts.
The Chart of Accounts will only take effect once it is published. Any changes made in draft mode will not be reflected in live transactions or reporting until you publish the updated Chart of Accounts. Ensure you have thoroughly reviewed all configurations before publishing.
Publishing your Chart of Accounts activates the settings and ensures they are used for generating GL strings and journal entries for all subsequent transactions within Zuora. This step is crucial for accurate financial reporting and seamless integration with your accounting systems.
