Notifications for memos
The Invoice Settlement feature is generally available as of Zuora Billing Release 296 (March 2021). This feature includes Unapplied Payments, Credit and Debit Memos, and Invoice Item Settlement. If you want to have access to the feature, see Invoice Settlement Enablement and Checklist Guide for more information. After Invoice Settlement is enabled, the Invoice Item Adjustment feature will be deprecated for your tenant.
You can configure credit memo and debit memo notifications from the Zuora UI. The email and callout notifications can be sent automatically when the following events are triggered:
- A credit memo is created
- A credit memo is posted
- A debit memo is created
- A debit memo is posted

Also, you can send the generated credit memo PDFs or debit memo PDFs in the emails and callouts. See Download and Email Memo Documents.
