Run a report with data warehouse

This article explains how to run reports with data warehouses, such as Zuora Warehouse, for better performance.

This is only applicable to reports with saved data query.

Currently, only Zuora Warehouse of size X-Small is available. For more information about Zuora Warehouse and warehouse size, see Zuora Warehouse overview.

You can run reports with data warehouse on the following occasions:

  • Creating reports
  • Editing reports
  • In the report list

Create and run a report with data warehouse

To create a report and run it with data warehouse, perform the following steps:

  1. In the left navigation section, navigate to Reporting > Reporting.
  2. Click + Create New Report.
  3. Select the data source.
  4. Build and preview the report.
  5. Click the triangle icon triangle-blue.png to the right of Save Report & Run to open the drop-down list.
  6. From the drop-down list, select the option for the data warehouse you want to run this report with.
    For example, if you want to run the report with Zuora Warehouse*, select Run Report with Warehouse.

Edit and run a report with data warehouse

To edit a report and run it with data warehouse, perform the following steps:

  1. In the left navigation section, navigate to Reporting > Reporting.
  2. Click the folder that contains the report you want to update. For more information about folders in reporting, see Folders and sharing.
  3. Click the triangle icon triangle-white.png to the right of the report you want to edit. The drop-down list opens.
  4. From the drop-down list, click Edit.
  5. Update the report configuration as needed.
  6. Click the triangle icon triangle-blue.png to the right of Run Report to open the drop-down list.
  7. From the drop-down list, select the option for the data warehouse you want to run this report with.
    For example, if you want to run the report with Zuora Warehouse*, select Run Report with Warehouse.

Run a report with data warehouse from the report list

To run a report with data warehouse from the report list, perform the following steps:

  1. In the left navigation section, navigate to Reporting > Reporting.
  2. Click the folder that contains the report you want to update. For more information about folders in reporting, see Folders and sharing.
  3. Click the triangle icon triangle-white.png to the right of the report you want to run. The drop-down list opens.
  4. From the drop-down list, select the option for the data warehouse you want to run this report with.
    For example, if you want to run the report with Zuora Warehouse*, select Run Detail Report with Warehouse or Run Summary Report with Warehouse as needed.
