Migrate existing user accounts from individual tenants to OneID
This article describes how to migrate local user accounts to global user accounts in OneID.
Steps involved in user account migration:
- New user provisioning can be done by assigning users to groups or directly assigning tenants to them, granting them access to the tenant.
- To preserve your existing user account from each Zuora tenant, migrate local user accounts and map them to the global user account in OneID. To migrate local user accounts to global user accounts, contact Zuora Global Support.
- You can migrate one or more user accounts from one or more tenants and environments simultaneously. Include the information from this sheet for user migrations. The following columns are mandatory for user migrations.
- Local user name in the Zuora tenant: Enter the tenant-level username of the user.
- Tenant ID: Enter the tenant ID from which the user account needs to be migrated to OneID.
- User role in OneID: Specify the user role as Admin or User.
- Federated ID (Optional): To enable SSO for the user in OneID after migration, enter the federated ID.
- You can migrate one or more user accounts from one or more tenants and environments simultaneously. Include the information from this sheet for user migrations. The following columns are mandatory for user migrations.
- After the migration, users' OneID accounts can be activated, and their existing tenant access can be viewed from the MyApps page without adding them to groups or assigning tenant access from OneID.
OneID does not support the management or migration of API users. API user accounts must be managed at the tenant level.
