You can choose one of the following three cancellation options for different scenarios:
- Only cancel a subscription. See Cancel subscriptions.
- Cancel a subscription with a refund, and even write off outstanding invoices. In this scenario, payments must have been created in advance. See Cancel subscriptions and refund end customers automatically and Examples of canceling a subscription and refunding the end customers automatically.
- Cancel a subscription and write off all unpaid invoices. In this scenario, payments have not been created. See Cancel subscriptions and write off all unpaid invoices.
The three cancelation options use the same Create an order API operation with different sets of fields.
