Orders and Subscriptions
Resolved: NullPointerException error when previewing invoices with the Subscribe action
Previously during invoices preview with the Subscribe action, the NullPointerException error may occur when the corresponding Contract Effective, Service Activation, or Customer Acceptance date was not set if the subscription contained a charge with its trigger event being set as `ContractEffectiveDate`, `ServiceActivationDate`, or `CustomerAcceptanceDate`.
This issue has now been resolved. Error messages have been added in the processing logic to remind users to set the corresponding trigger date if the subscription contains a charge with its trigger event being set as `ContractEffectiveDate`, `ServiceActivationDate`, or `CustomerAcceptanceDate`.
Invoicing and Invoice Settlement
Credit amount enhancement for memos created from invoices
This feature is only available if you have Invoice Settlement enabled. The Invoice Settlement feature is generally available as of Zuora Billing Release 296 (March 2021). This feature includes Unapplied Payments, Credit and Debit Memos, and Invoice Item Settlement. If you want to have access to the feature, see Invoice Settlement Enablement and Checklist Guide for more information.
Zuora has enhanced the credit amount configuration for creating credit and debit memos from invoices.
If Tax Auto Calculation is selected on the Create Credit/Debit Memo page, you cannot input any credit amount in the Credit Amount column for taxation items.
