Invoicing and Invoice Settlement
Name Format Changes to Files Generated for Billing Documents
The names of the files that are generated for billing documents now contain more detailed information. Billing documents include invoices, credit memos, and debit memos.
The Credit and Debit Memos feature is only available if you have the Invoice Settlement feature enabled. The Invoice Settlement feature is in Limited Availability. If you wish to have access to the feature, submit a request at Zuora Global Support.
The naming formats of the files generated for billing documents are now as follows:
- For posted invoices: InvoiceNumber_AccountNumber_InvoiceDate.FileExtension
For example,INV00000013_A00000035_03132018.doc. - For invoices in other statuses: InvoiceNumber_AccountNumber_InvoiceDate_InvoiceStatus.FileExtension
For example,INV00000012_A00000035_03122018_Canceled.pdf. - For posted credit memos and debit memos: MemoNumber_AccountNumber_MemoDate.FileExtension
For example,CM00000005_A00000018_10092017.pdf. - For credit memos and debit memos in other statuses: MemoNumber_AccountNumber_MemoDate_MemoStatus.FileExtension
For example,DM00000004_A00000018_10092017_Draft.doc.
Back Button Enhancement to the List View Tab On Several Pages
Zuora has enhanced the Back button functionality in the List View tab on the following pages:
- All Payments
- All Invoice Item Adjustments
- All Payment Methods
After performing the following operations, you can now return to the specific page that you just visited:
- You click a specific object from the List View Tab on a specific page to view the details about the object; and
- You click your browser's Back button.
The object can be a payment, payment method, or an invoice item adjustment.
Previously, you were directed to the List View Tab of the first page in the preceding scenario.
Payments
The "Direct Debit New Zealand Supported By GoCardless Payment Gateway Integration" release note was removed since this feature has not been delivered. It is expected to be delivered in a future release.
SlimPay Gateway Reconciliation Now Supports File Upload Retry
Zuora has enhanced the SlimPay gateway reconciliation. The Retry Upload File and Retry File Name options are provided in the SlimPay gateway reconciliation job page. With this enhancement, you can now upload and rename the retry file for failed GR transactions.

Adyen Integration v2.0 Now Available
A new integration for the Adyen payment gateway called Adyen Integration 2.0 is now available in Zuora. It supports the latest Adyen API, and the up-to-date Visa mandate and stored credential fields. The following payment methods are supported by this integration:
- Credit Cards
- Credit Card Reference Transaction
- Bank Transfer (SEPA)

Reporting and Dashboard
Dashboard Location Change
If your organization uses the Zuora Dashboard feature, you can now access the dashboard via Analytics > Dashboard in your Zuora tenant. Previously, the dashboard was located in the Reporting menu of your Zuora tenant.
