Orders and Subscriptions
Suspend and Resume Supported in Order Metrics
The Suspend and Resume feature is supported in Order Metrics. When Order Metrics is enabled, you can now suspend and resume subscriptions using Amendments. See Suspend a Subscription and Resume a Subscription for more information. Also, during an Order Metrics migration, a subscription that was previously suspended or resumed can now be migrated.
Resume Extends Term Field in Orders UI
The Resume Extends Term field is supported in the Orders UI. You can now specify the Resume Extends Term field when you resume a subscription via the Orders UI.
Billing
Customer Account Search Enhancement for New Payment Runs
When creating payment runs through the Zuora user interface, you can now search for specific customer accounts based on name, account number, and "name or account number" more efficiently.
In the Single Customer Account tab on the New Payment Run page or on the New Scheduled Payment Run page, the following radio buttons are now available for account search enhancement:
- Name
- Account Number
- Name or Account Number
Previously, only customer account search by "name or account number" was supported for new payment runs.
Support for Not Displaying Invoices With Zero Amount
Zuora now supports not displaying invoices with zero amount. To use this feature, select the Don't show items with amount 0 check box on the All Invoices page through the Zuora user interface.
Changes to Existing Billing Rules
The default value of either of the following billing rules billing rule has been changed to No in Billing Settings > Define Billing Rules.
- Invoice Past End-of-Term when Auto-Renew is ON?
- Invoice Past End-of-Term when Auto-Renew is OFF?
This change is for new Zuora tenants only and does not affect any existing Zuora tenants.
For better clarification, the validation message displayed when changing the value from Yes to No is refined to "Invoice Past End-of-Term when Auto-Renew is ON" can only be set to No when recurring charge proration settings are turned on.
Payments
Support for SoftBank Payment Gateway
Zuora now provides integration with the SoftBank payment gateway. The Credit Card and Credit Card Reference Transaction payment methods are now supported by this gateway integration.
Support for Dankort Credit Card Type on Payment Pages 2.0
Zuora now supports the Dankort credit card type on Payment Pages 2.0. A new option called Dankort
has been added to the supported values for the param_supportedTypes
client parameter. See Credit Card Type Payment Pages for more information.
To display the Dankort credit card logo on HPM pages, add Dankort
to the comma-separated list of values for the param_supportedTypes
parameter when integrating Payment Pages 2.0.
Label Updates on Payment Gateway Setting Page
We have updated the following UI labels on the Edit Gateway page to avoid confusion when configuring payment gateway instances in Zuora:
- Verify new payment method
- Verify updated payment method
- Verify new Paypal Express Checkout payment method
Previously, the UI labels were:
- Verify new credit card
- Verify updated credit card
- Verify new payment methods
