Order Item for Usage Charge Type

This feature is only available if you have the Order Metrics feature enabled. If you wish to have access to the feature, submit a request at Zuora Global Support. We will investigate your use cases and data before enabling this feature for you. If you have the Orders feature enabled, you already have the Order Metrics feature enabled. 

If you have the Order Metrics feature enabled prior to March 2018, you can submit a request at Zuora Global Support to migrate the Order Metrics to the latest version.

The Order Item feature now supports the usage charge type. This enables you to allocate usage revenue to performance obligations and revenue contracts. See the Order Item object in Orders Object Model.

Billing

Tax Calculation Enhancement in Advanced AR Settlement

The Invoice Settlement feature is generally available as of Zuora Billing Release 296 (March 2021). This feature includes Unapplied Payments, Credit and Debit Memos, and Invoice Item Settlement. If you want to have access to the feature, see Invoice Settlement Enablement and Checklist Guide for more information. After Invoice Settlement is enabled, the Invoice Item Adjustment feature will be deprecated for your tenant.

The Advanced AR Settlement feature has been enhanced. You can now update the amount of tax-inclusive memo items for both credit and debit memos that are created from a product rate plan charge. When you update the amount of a memo item that is taxable, the memo tax will be recalculated.

With this enhancement, the behavior of the memo item amount in some REST API operations has also been refined. For tax-inclusive memo items, the amount indicates the memo item amount including tax. For tax-exclusive memo items, the amount indicates the memo item amount excluding tax. See API Changelog for more details about the updates in the REST API operations.

Additional Locales for Invoice PDF Localization

The Invoice PDF Localization feature is in Limited Availability. If you already have this feature enabled, these new locales are available automatically. Submit a request at Zuora Global Support only if you wish to have access to Invoice PDF Localization.

Zuora now supports translated invoice merge fields in invoice PDFs for the following countries and corresponding languages:

  • Turkey: Tukish
  • United Arab Emirates: Arabic
  • Jordan: Arabic
  • Syria: Arabic
  • Bahrain: Arabic
  • Saudi Arabia: Arabic
  • Yemen: Arabic
  • Egypt: Arabic
  • Sudan: Arabic
  • Tunisia: Arabic
  • Iraq: Arabic
  • Morocco: Arabic
  • Qatar: Arabic
  • Oman: Arabic
  • Kuwait: Arabic
  • Libya: Arabic
  • Algeria: Arabic
  • Lebanon: Arabic

This feature allows you to extend your billing to even more geographies.
