This article describes the different operating options supported by Zuora CPQ.

Zuora CPQ UI and Zuora Billing API Architecture

The following table explains the settings you must configure and the different operating options Zuora provides for CPQ UI and Zuora Billing API architecture:

You must enable Orders to be able to use CPQ X or Multi Subscription Quoting (MSQ) .

Important 

  • Each Salesforce organization can only have one Zuora CPQ-managed package installed. See, Zuora Quotes Version 10 Release Notes for the latest version of Zuora CPQ. 

  • Zuora CPQ uses only one object model, and the core objects are used in the 'Subscribe and Amend' and 'Orders' architecture.

  • Each Zuora CPQ-managed package can only connect to one Zuora Billing tenant.

  • You can create and save a quote using the legacy UI of the Zuora CPQ and access/edit it later from the  Quote Studio UI.
