Zuora RevPro 36.005.00 Release Notes
This article provides a summary of new features, enhancements, and resolved issues in the Zuora RevPro version 36.005.00.
New Features and Enhancements
The following new features and enhancements are available in this release.
Display JE Reference Columns in JE Summary Tab
Previously, the JE Summary tab in the JE Details window cannot display reference columns for the journal entries that are uploaded based on standard templates.
From this release, you can create layouts to display the JE reference columns in the JE Summary tab. When you are creating a layout, you can also control the access to your layouts by setting the Accessible to field to one of the following values:
- All: All users can view and edit the layout.
- All (Readonly): All users can view the layout but cannot edit it.
- Owner: Only you can view and edit the layout.
This enhancement applies to the new UI only.
Reduction Order Line ID Available in RORD Reports
From this release, the Reduction Order Line ID is added to the Reduction Orders Report for your convenience to view and export data at line level.
VC Accounting Changed for SFC
From this release, accounting for significant finance component has changed. The SFC specific balance sheet accounts are used to clear the liability when the interest income or expense occurs.
When you define a VC type, you can configure it as SFC type and select appropriate SFC liability or clearing account for balance sheet accounting. Then, after SFC is processed, the SFC revenue is adjusted for appropriate SFC balance sheet accounts instead of Contract Liability account. SFC liability account will be considered for offset accounting when booking the interest income/expense amounts
For example, if there is an SFC amount of $24000 that decreases the transaction price. Previously, when SFC is processed, the accounting entries are booked as follows. The SFC Adjustment Revenue account is cleared by crediting back, which is not correct.
Accounting Period | Accounting Type | Debit | Credit | |

Support to Display MJE Lines in Cost Reports
From this release, MJE lines can be enabled at the RC line level for the following reports:
- Cost Insight
- Cost Rollforward Report
An MJE filter option is introduced to differentiate the MJE lines and the lines through the collection.
- If the MJE filter value is set to Y, MJE information is displayed as separate lines in the report.
- If the MJE filter value is set to N, only the regular lines from data collection are displayed in the reports.
- If the MJE filter value is set to Both, the amounts from the uploaded MJE are counted into the overall balance or revenue amounts.
This enhancement provides the complete integration of manual journals in the reporting framework.
UI Update for EBS Authentication Support
If you use Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) as the upstream system, from this release, you can seamlessly log in to RevPro new UI from EBS as the user who has the Oracle EBS responsibility assigned. The EBS_REDIRECT_URL profile is added to RevPro for this purpose.
This enhancement applies to the new UI only.
Issues Resolved in This Release
The following major problems or issues are fixed in this release. Refer to the attached CSV file to get a list of all issues that have been resolved in this release.
- After the RevPro3.0 Immediate POB Release program runs, the released adjustment amount is more than the initial amount. This is because duplicated allocation entries are created during the POB release process.
- When two lines of the same VC type are collected in one batch and applied to the same RC line, duplicate records are created for the same SO line ID during VC processing.
- Contract modification is not triggered after linking and delinking actions.
- After a batch is created for an SSP Analyzer template, the template should not be eligible to be deleted.
- The sales order lines that have been invoiced and credited are displayed in the Unreleased POB(s) Report.
- When you specify the search criteria to look for revenue contracts in Workbench, the search values are case sensitive except for the Customer Name and Purchase Order fields.
- Duplicated contract modifications are collected for the same SO line.
- On the Account Setup page of the new UI, the segment settings cannot be updated.
- The initial accounting entries for costs are created as double-sided entries, which should be single sided entries. As a result, the beginning and ending balances are incorrect in the Cost Capitalized Rollforward Report.
- After the invoice is collected for a bundled SO line, the selling price and the allocatable selling price are doubled unexpectedly.
- When you are editing the SSP value for an SSP stratification in the Edit SSP Group Data window, decimal values cannot be specified. The format of SSP value is determined by the currency format. For example, if the currency format is set to be USD with 2 decimals, you can only specify the SSP value with 2 decimals.
