Deprecation of Bill Run Notification: Posted email notification setting
In late December 2022, we will deprecate the non-configurable "Bill Run Notification: Posted” email notification setting from production tenants. This change will go live in sandbox tenants on 6 December 2022. After this change, the notification emails will not be sent to the user accounts that are used to create bill runs.
The alternative solution to revive "Bill Run Notification: Posted” notifications is to use custom events. For more information about how to configure Bill Run Posted custom events, see the “Bill Run Posted” section in Custom events.
Additionally, you can use the following standard events for Bill Run Completion to trigger email notifications:
- Completed Status
- Error Status
Usage and Rating
Resolved: Cannot create evergreen subscriptions when the Prepaid with Drawdown feature is enabled
Previously, if your tenant has enabled the Prepaid with Drawdown feature, you couldn’t create non-prepaid type evergreen subscriptions.
This issue has been resolved. You can now create non-prepaid evergreen subscriptions in tenants that have enabled the Prepaid with Drawdown feature.
Zuora Collect has only internal enhancements and resolved issues in this release.
Zuora Central Platform
Support for foreign currency conversion through Data Query
A new function called
fx_convert is now available in Data Query. You can use this function to convert monetary values from an original currency to a target currency and export converted data to query results.
For example, you can convert the invoice amounts from the transaction currency to your home currency or any specific currency.
For more information, see Foreign currency conversion for Data Query.
Enhancement to Audit Trail for sandbox tenants
On 23 Nov 2022 PDT, we will perform an upgrade on Audit Trail for all sandbox tenants.
After this upgrade, you can use three new fields (
day) in the following Audit Trail tables:
For example, you can use the following query to retrieve login history records in October:
select * from auditloginevent where year = 2022 and month = 10
For more information about sample queries, see Sample Queries of Audit Trail for sandbox tenants.
After this upgrade, only the last three months of Audit Trail data in your sandbox tenant will be available.
Note that this upgrade is specifically for sandbox tenants. The upgrade for production tenants will be performed at a later time and the entirety of Audit Trail history in your production tenants will be available after the upgrade.
