UI enhancement

here_black.png Global Search

From this release, the Global Search feature is introduced to Zuora UI by adding a search bar to the UI header. You can use this search bar to help you quickly find what you are looking for. As an initial launch, the Global Search feature can support only the Account, Order, Subscription, Invoice, and Payment objects with the following characteristics:

  • The search bar in the UI header uses a simple lookup search and returns the results that contain or exactly match the search keywords in the searchable fields across all supported objects. For example, if you are looking for a specific account by using the account ID, not only the account but also the related objects such as invoices, orders, subscriptions, and payments will be returned.

  • The typeahead functionality is used to display recent searches and presents a preview of search results to top hits for easier access. You can directly open the individual UI page from the top hits, or you can open the search results page to get a comprehensive view of everything related to the search.

  • On the search results page, all results on this page are categorized by the object type. Filtering and sorting functionalities are provided on the search results page to help narrow down the search results. The search results are updated in near real-time upon creation, update, or deletion of objects in most cases. However, sometimes it might take up to one minute. Note that the filter called Payment Applied for the Invoice object is used to filter the invoiced with 100% of payment applied.

The Global Search feature is in the Beta phase and will not be deployed to Central Sandbox and Production environments until further notice.

Creation of Indian recurring mandates through one-time payment flows no longer supports Credit Card payment methods

In accordance with the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) regulation for storage of payment system data, the payment transaction data including the credit card information shall be stored in systems located only in India. Hence, we no longer support the storage of credit card data and consequently the one-time payment flows for processing local recurring payments with credit cards in India.

To create Indian recurring mandates, you can implement one-time payment flows through Payment Pages 2.0 for Credit Card Reference Transaction payment methods on the Stripe v2 integration. For more information, see Implement Payment Pages 2.0 to support processing payments in India.

Custom scheduled events and notifications now available

Custom scheduled events are now introduced as a new event type. You can now trigger notifications by using custom scheduled events, based on the combinations of the key date fields of the objects and the specific count of days before or after the date. For example, you can trigger custom scheduled event notifications such as "3 Days before Term End Date" and "5 Days after Subscription Updated Date."

See Custom Scheduled Events for more information.

Enhancement on custom event notifications to provide timezones in date type fields

The custom event notifications now provide timezones in date type fields for consistency with the standard event notifications.
