Reversed invoices and write-off invoices displayed when previewing a subscription through Zuora UI

The Zuora UI has now been enhanced to support displaying reversed invoices and write-off invoices when you preview a subscription through the Zuora UI. This functionality is only available if you have enabled the Invoice Settlement feature. 

Enhancement to Invoice Item data source

The Invoice Item data source has been enhanced to better support standalone invoices. You can now export data stored in the fields on the following objects when the invoice item is generated from a non-subscription transaction:

• Product
• Product rate plan
• Product rate plan charge

Previously, those objects were only available when the invoice item had an associated subscription.

Enhancements to invoice and credit memo generation rule

The Invoice/Credit Memo generation rule billing rule has been enhanced to provide a new option called Put all negative charges and zero credit charges on a credit memo. 

With this option, an invoice is automatically generated for all positive charges, while a credit memo is automatically generated for all negative charges and zero-amount credit charges.

REST API enhancements for memo updates, cancelations, and deletions

The following API operations have been enhanced to support updating, canceling, and deleting credit or debit memos by memo number: 

• Update a credit memo
• Cancel a credit memo
• Delete a credit memo
• Update a debit memo
• Cancel a debit memo
• Delete a debit memo

Previously, these API operations only supported memo management by memo ID. 

Zuora Quotes 

We recently released patch releases on top of Zuora Quotes version 10.6. The latest version is 10.6.1.

Updated PGP and SSH key files available for Chase PMU

We have updated the PGP and SSH key files required for configuring the Chase Payment Method Updater (PMU) service with the Chase Net Connect Batch (NCB) Account Updater. You can download these key files from the Configure Chase Payment Method Updater article and provide them to Chase NCB. 

New gateway option fields available on Adyen v2 for passing in billing address information

You can now submit billing address information through Adyen Integration v2.0 to the gateway by using the following gateway option fields. You can use these fields through Payment Pages 2.0 and supported APIs.

• addressLine1
• addressLine2
• city
• country
• postalCode
• stateOrProvince

More options available for From Email and Reply-To Email dropdown lists in email templates

When configuring email templates for the following standard events, you can now select Tenant Email and Run Owner besides A Specific Email in the From Email and Reply-To Email dropdown lists:

• Bill Run Completion
• Billing Preview Run Completion
• Payment Run Completion
• Journal Run Completion
• Trial Balance Completion
• DataSource Export Completion
• Import Processed
• Gateway Reconciliation Job Completion
• Payment Method Updater Batch Started
• Payment Method Updater Batch Completed

Previously, only A Specific Email was available for both dropdown lists.

Required user access level changed for the Manage Callout Settings page

For higher security and consistency, the required user access level for the Settings > Administration Settings > Manage Callout Settings page has been elevated. Only users with the Administrator platform user role have access to this page now. Previously, users who had access to the Setup Profiles, Notifications and Email Templates page were allowed to access this page.

Launch of Zuora ProcessAI

Having a holistic view of your business processes could be challenging, especially when business complexity is rocketing and transaction data is exploding. Therefore, we now launch Zuora ProcessAI (ProcessAI for short) to assist in process discovery and optimization for your business. Built on the Zuora platform, ProcessAI ingests data from Zuora Billing, Collect and Revenue using built-in connectors and delivers accurate process analysis results using AI algorithms and machine learning.

With ProcessAI, you can easily discover and continuously optimize your business processes within Zuora applications to achieve better ROI. Additionally, you do not need to invest in integrations between Zuora and other applications for process mining and process analytics as all process data points in Zuora are automatically picked up by ProcessAI. It helps you save the cost of integration and simplify the application landscape.

After you have enabled this feature, you can access it on Zuora UI by clicking Process AI > Process Discovery from the left navigation menu.
