Zuora Quotes Versions 6.4x or earlier
This article describes the current deprecation policy for Zuora CPQ legacy versions.
Deprecation policy
This policy will only affect you if you are on the following versions:

6.43.2, 6.30.5, 6.2.5, 6.2.4, 6.1.14, 6.0.14, 5.100.7, 5.91.2, 5.91, 5.90.6, 5.90.4, 5.90.3, 5.90.2, 5.90.1, 5.90

The versions being deprecated have not been supported since July of 2018; however, we did not previously require customers on these versions to upgrade. See the Zuora CPQ End of Support Policy for details. This new policy will ensure that these versions will no longer be operable; thus, customers on these versions will be required to upgrade.
This policy will take full effect on January 31, 2023. At that point, any customers who are still using these versions will be required to upgrade to version 6.54 or higher. As a best practice, it is recommended to upgrade to the latest version of CPQ; however, the minimum requirement is to upgrade to at least 6.54. Upgrading can be done in stages within the timeline that makes sense for your organization to allocate resources to testing the upgrades in Sandbox Orgs before upgrading Production Orgs. Please see the schedule below for a full explanation of the timeline.
Upgrade paths
We recommend that you upgrade to the latest packages of Zuora Quotes. The package upgrades are designed to be as self-service and backward compatible as possible, but if you feel you have heavy customizations that need technical expertise, contact your Zuora Customer Success Manager or Zuora Global Support, who can best advise you on resources you can leverage, including Zuora Services. In general, making small leaps of upgrades, such as between 6.43 and 6.54 will require less changes than larger leaps, such as between 6.43 and 9.0.

Deprecation schedule
| July 2022 |
Support starts proactive communication to the customers on the affected versions to be deprecated. The policy announcement is sent out to all Zuora Quotes Customers who are on version 6.4 or earlier. |

| October 2022 | A general reminder is sent to all customers of impacted versions about the timeline and the package links |
| December 1, 2022 | A reminder is sent to all customers on versions 6.4x and older of the pending deprecation date. |
| January 31, 2023 |
The installation links for the affected versions are removed. Zuora will officially deprecate Zuora Quotes versions listed above and those versions will no longer be operable. |
Check the current version
To check the currently installed version, complete the following steps:
- In Salesforce, navigate to Setup > Installed Packages.
- Check the version numbers for the Zuora Quotes package
