Zuora Custom Events
Zuora custom events are pre-defined events for Zuora Orders and other features such as Advanced Consumption Billing.
Similar to Zuora standard events, you can define notifications based on a Zuora custom event. When a Zuora custom event is triggered, Zuora will send all notifications associated with that event.
Zuora custom events are defined by Zuora and are not editable or deletable. If you want to create events for a particular use case in your business, see Custom events.
View Zuora custom events
To view Zuora custom events, perform the following steps:
- Click your avatar in the upper-right and then click Billing, Payments, Finance, or Administration.
- On the Settings page, click Setup Profiles, Notifications and Email Templates.
- Click the Custom Events tab.
All Zuora custom events, custom events, and custom scheduled events are listed on the page. The Type column indicates the type of each event. You can sort the list by clicking the column name.
Zuora custom events for Zuora Orders
The following table describes the Zuora custom events for Zuora Orders. If you want to enable the Orders feature and these events, submit a request at Zuora Global Support. Once the feature is enabled, Zuora will provide you with these Zuora custom events and corresponding notifications out of the box.
If the Orders Harmonization feature is enabled in your tenant, the Orders events and notifications are available for any order action created through the Orders API.
