Prepare SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud
Before connecting the SAP-BTP Agent to SAP, you must prepare your SAP tenant.
Configuring SAP involves the following tasks:
Configure a Communication System and Communication User in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud
Complete the following steps to configure the communication system and user:
- Log in to the SAP Fiori Launchpad.
- Navigate to the Communication Management menu and select the Communication Systems tile.
- On the Communication Systems screen, click New to create a new communication system.
- Enter the appropriate System ID and System Name, then click Create.
- Under the Technical Data section, fill in the following details:
- Host Name: {Host Name}
- UI Host Name: {UI Host Name}
- Logical System: Use the same name as the System Name.
- Click Save.
- For Inbound Communication, click Add (+) to configure a user for inbound communication.
- On the New Inbound Communication User screen, click New User.
- On the Create Communication User screen, enter the following details and click Create:
- User Name: {Enter a unique user name}
- Password: {Set a secure password}
- Description: {Provide a description, for example, “Zuora Test”}
- Click OK and then Save the Communication System.
- Choose the same Communication System for Users for Outbound Communication.
- Return to the SAP Fiori Launchpad.
Create a Communication Arrangement
Complete the following steps to create a communication arrangement:
- Under Communication Management, choose the Communication Arrangements tile.
- On the Communication Arrangements screen, click New and select the scenario Finance - Posting Integration (SAP_COM_0002).
- Click Create.
- On the next screen, select the Communication System that you prefer to use, then choose a User belonging to the Communication System.
- Click Save to save the Communication Arrangement.
Once saved, the URL will be displayed. This URL can be used to configure the Zuora SAP-BTP Agent for posting Journal Entries from Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue.
