Meter with Map as a processor

To create a meter with Map as the processor, follow the instructions below:

1. Create a Custom Meter. For more information, see Create a new meter using custom method.
2. Select Map as the processor.
   The Map settings page is displayed.
   
3. Enter a name for the map component.
4. Map the source and target fields.
   1. You can select to keep or drop the source field. When you drop a field, it will not show in the target fields for the next process or the target source.
   2. You can define the target field and apply a transform value. Transform value overwrites the target field value. The target value can be a valid javascript expression and you can use the variable value to refer to the source field value and use the variable event to refer to the whole event in the expression. Meanwhile, you can also set the format for the target field.
5. Click Save to save the map processor settings.
