Set up API user in Revenue

To navigate to Zuora Revenue and set up the role privileges/permissions for an API user, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Zuora Revenue > SetupsSecurity.

  2. Create a role and enter a name API Role.

  3. Click the Role Privileges tab.

  4. Expand the Privilege Data interface.

  5. Select Full Access for the privilege named Web Services Inbound.

  6. Select Full Access for the privilege named Web Services Outbound.

  7. Save the role.

  8. Navigate to Zuora Revenue > Setups > Security > Users.

  9. Create an API user.

  10.  Go to the Role Assignments tab and assign the API role created from step 7.

  11.  If you need to change the password, use the feature Reset API Password under Setup > Security > Reset API User Password.

Enable connector profile for NetSuite ERP

Navigate to Setup > Application > Profiles and enable the following profile in Zuora Revenue to configure the connector:

ENABLE_ZR_CONNECTORS 

Enabling the Integration Hub Marketplace in the Zuora Revenue Navigation Menu UI allows you to run the NetSuite Inbound connector

Complete the following steps to enable this profile:

  • Type ENABLE_ZR_CONNECTORS in the Profile Name field.

  • Select System in the Profile Level drop-down field. 

  •  Select Text in the Profile Type drop-down field. 

  • Type NS_IB in the System Level Value field.

Set up a transaction upload file template 

There must be a transaction file template defined for each object type of NetSuite transactions such as template for Orders, Invoices and Credit Memos. Define the fields in each transaction template based on the business need/use case requirements. The details of how to create a transaction template are available in Upload transactions.
