Overview

Every Insights tenant comes pre-built with a set of standard fields for both Account and User records. A field can be one of two types:

Attribute: Numeric or alphanumeric field that updates with no set frequency (e.g. Account Name or Industry)
Metric: Numeric field that updates at a set frequency (e.g. Active Users (Last 30 Days) or Total Sessions per Week)

Insights standard fields have proven to be generally useful for all customers and offer a starting point for additional custom attributes and metrics that you will want to track about your subscribers.

Account Fields

Demographic

The following fields are required by Insights to identify your Accounts. Demographic fields typically originate from information you have stored in Zuora Billing or your CRM.

Zuora Child	Attribute	True or False	Indicates whether the Account has a parent Account in your Zuora tenant.
Zuora Child Account Names	Attribute	Text	The name of the Account's immediate child Account in your Zuora tenant. If the Account has multiple child accounts, the names are separated by commas.
Zuora Child Account Numbers	Attribute	Text	The Account number of the Account's immediate child Account in your Zuora tenant. If the Account has multiple child Accounts, the Account numbers are separated by commas.
Zuora Parent	Attribute	True or False	Indicates whether the Account has any child Accounts in your Zuora tenant.
Zuora Parent Account ID	Attribute	Identifier: External Link: Zuora Account	The ID of the Account's immediate parent Account in your Zuora tenant.
Zuora Parent Account Name	Attribute	Text	The name of the Account's immediate parent Account in your Zuora tenant.
Zuora Parent Account Number	Attribute	Identifier: Not linked	The account number of the Account's immediate parent Account in your Zuora tenant.

Behavioral

The following fields are automatically generated based on subscriber behavior events you send into Insights. Events typically originate from your product and/or analytics databases.

Last Action	Attribute	Identifier: Internal Link: Event	The most recent Event done by the Account or a User associated with the Account.
Last Action Date	Attribute	Timestamp: Fixed	Timestamp of the most recent Event done by the Account or a User associated with the Account.
Last User	Attribute	Identifier: Internal Link: User	The User associated with the Account with the most recent Event.
Total Actions per Week	Metric	Number: Integer	Total number of Events in the calendar week (Monday to Sunday).
Total Sessions per Week	Metric	Number: Integer	Total number of Sessions in the calendar week (Monday to Sunday).
Total Users	Metric	Number: Integer	Number of Users associated with the Account.
Usage Intensity	Metric	Number: Decimal: 1	A 0-10 ranking of all Accounts by number of recent Events, where 10 is the most active Account. More details available here.

Financial

Every Insights customer blends behavioral data with financial data from your Zuora tenant. Below is a listing of the standard financial fields available for every Insights customer.

Account Balance	Attribute	Number: Currency	Current outstanding balance for the Account in Zuora Billing.
Account Billing Batch	Attribute	Picklist	Billing batch name of the Account in Zuora Billing. If a billing batch name is customized in Zuora Billing, the value of this field is the custom billing batch name. Otherwise, the value of this field is the default billing batch name, e.g., Batch15.
Account Currency	Attribute	Picklist	Currency the Account will be billed in. Each Account can only be billed in one currency. All transactions (invoices, payments, adjustments) for the Account are billed in this currency.
Account End Date	Attribute	Calendar Date: Fixed	For canceled Accounts, this is the Account's latest Subscription Canceled Date, or latest Subscription Rate Plan Charge Effective End Date, whichever is later. For non-canceled Accounts, this field is null.
Account Start Date	Attribute	Calendar Date: Fixed	The Account's earliest Subscription Start Date, or earliest Subscription Rate Plan Charge Effective Start Date (it is possible to have Subscriptions with Subscription Rate Plan Charges with start dates prior to Subscription Start Date), whichever is earlier.
Account Status	Attribute	Picklist	Status of the Account in Zuora Billing.
Active Plans	Attribute	Text	Comma-separated list of active Subscription Rate Plans for the Account, where each plan is displayed as a concatenation of: [Product Name] / [Rate Plan Name].
Additional Email Addresses	Attribute	Text	List of additional email address to receive emailed invoices.
Auto-Pay	Attribute	True or False	Indicates whether due payments are automatically collected for the Account during payment runs.
Auto-Renew	Attribute	True or False	Indicates whether the Account has any Subscriptions with auto-renew enabled.
Average Invoice Amount - Last 3 Months	Metric	Number: Currency	Mean invoice amount for invoices posted in the last 90 days.
Average Invoice Amount - Last 6 Months	Metric	Number: Currency	Mean invoice amount for invoices posted in the last 180 days.
Average Invoice Amount - Last 12 Months	Metric	Number: Currency	Mean invoice amount for invoices posted in the last 365 days.
Balance 30 Days Past Due	Metric	Number: Currency	The sum of all invoice balances for Account's invoices over 30 days old. An invoice balance is the remaining balance of an invoice after all payments, adjustments and refunds are applied.
Balance 60 Days Past Due	Metric	Number: Currency	The sum of all invoice balances for Account's invoices over 60 days old. An invoice balance is the remaining balance of an invoice after all payments, adjustments and refunds are applied.
Balance 90 Days Past Due	Metric	Number: Currency	The sum of all invoice balances for Account's invoices over 90 days old. An invoice balance is the remaining balance of an invoice after all payments, adjustments and refunds are applied.
Billing City	Attribute	Text	City of "Bill To" Key Contact in Zuora Billing.
Billing Contact Email	Attribute	Text	Email of "Bill To" Key Contact in Zuora Billing.

Contracted MRR	Attribute	Number: Currency	The future expected MRR, including scheduled future upgrades, downgrades, upsells and cancelations.
Customer Lifetime Value	Metric	Number: Currency	Estimate of the total revenue that the Account will bring to your subscription business during its lifetime as an active subscriber. The value is not adjusted to include any costs associated with the Account, so the value does not represent expected profit. Calculated as Contracted MRR for the Account divided by the monthly churn rate across all Accounts. This calculation is not based on the churn probability of individual Accounts. Zuora can provide a custom metric that more accurately estimates the lifetime value of Accounts. Contact your Zuora representative for more information.
Evergreen	Attribute	True or False	Indicates whether the Account has any Subscriptions with evergreen terms.
Evergreen Implied Next Renewal Date	Attribute	Calendar Date: Fixed	For Accounts with any Subscriptions with evergreen terms, the next date on which those terms renew, according to the charge billing cycle.
Final Renewal Date	Attribute	Calendar Date: Fixed	The latest Subscription End Date across all of an Account's Subscriptions, or the latest Rate Plan Charge Effective End Date, which ever is later.
Last Invoice Amount	Attribute	Number: Currency	Invoice amount of the most recent posted invoice.
Last Invoice Date	Attribute	Calendar Date: Fixed	The most recent Invoice Date for the Account across all Subscriptions.
Last Payment Date	Attribute	Calendar Date: Fixed	The most recent Payment Date for the Account across all Subscriptions.
Last Renewal Date	Attribute	Calendar Date: Fixed	The most recent date of a Subscription Renewal, or that a Rate Plan Charge began after another Rate Plan Charge ended.
Max Renewal Term (Months)	Attribute	Number: Integer	The longest renewal term duration, in months, across all of an Account's Subscriptions.
Min Renewal Term (Months)	Attribute	Number: Integer	The shortest renewal term duration, in months, across all of an Account's Subscriptions.
Net Payments (Last 12 Months)	Metric	Number: Currency	The sum of all processed payments for the Account, net of payment refunds, for the last 12 months.
Net Payments (Last 30 Days)	Metric	Number: Currency	The sum of all processed payments for the Account, net of payment refunds, for the last 30 days.
Net Payments (Month-to-Date)	Metric	Number: Currency	The sum of all processed payments for the Account, net of payment refunds, for the calendar month.
Net Payments (Lifetime-to-Date)	Metric	Number: Currency	The sum of all processed payments for the Account, net of payment refunds, for the entire history of the Account. If the Account canceled and subsequently became active again, the sum includes payments from before the cancellation and after the renewal.
Next Cancel Date	Attribute	Calendar Date: Fixed	The earliest of the Cancelation Date(s) on all of the Account's active Subscription(s). Does not capture Rate Plan Charges that just end "naturally" on their End Date.

Subscriber Status	Attribute	Picklist	Status of an Account's Subscriptions in Zuora Billing.
