Insights Developer Overview

Insights is designed to collect financial, demographic, and behavioral data about your subscribers. The data can reach Insights in the following ways:

• We provide connectors to your Zuora tenant and Salesforce. You can use these connectors to ensure that Insights has access to subscription, financial, and demographic data about your customers. See Setup and Administration for more information.

• You send behavioral data about your subscribers directly to Insights. The behavioral data typically comes from your product or application databases, and takes the form of user events. Insights aggregates the user events into calculated fields.

  The recommended way to send behavioral data from your application to Insights is to regularly upload data files using the Batch API.
