Multi-Org
The Multi-Org feature in Quote Studio is in the Early Availability phase. If you have a Zuora tenant that supports Multi-Org, you can use the feature without requiring backend enablement. Note that due to its early availability phase, Multi-Org is not currently compatible with Multi-Subscription Quoting and is scheduled for a future release.
We are actively soliciting feedback from a small set of early adopters. If you want to join this early availability program, submit a request at Zuora Global Support.
You can select an org to create new, amend, or renew subscription Quotes if you have Multi-Org enabled in your Zuora tenant. You can create a subscription quote from an Opportunity, an Account, or any other page that meets your business requirements. Org selection is supported from Quotes version 10.47 onwards.
As a Salesforce user, the first step of the Quote Studio determines the org for the Quote as below:
-
If there is only one org that you have access to, that org is used.
-
If there is more than one org that you have access to, you must select an org for the new Quote.
The products shown in the Product Selector modal are filtered in Quote Studio based on the selected org and products not associated with any org. The selected org also determines the value populated when sending the Quote to Zuora and Previewing, or anywhere in the Order Requests that require the Org ID.
As a Salesforce Admin, you can map Salesforce profiles to Zuora Orgs. See Map profiles to Zuora Org.
As a Salesforce user, you can select the org to create, amend, or renew a Quote. See Create new quote with Multi-org.
Other considerations
- If Multi Subscription Quoting is enabled in Zuora CPQ and Multi-Org is enabled in the Zuora tenant, you cannot preview and send Multi Subscription Quotes to Zuora.
- Multi-org and multi-entity are not supported in the same Salesforce org.
