Zephr uses a combination of Amazon’s CloudFront (for static assets) and geographically distributed Zephr proxies for dynamic content. Zephr transparently manages when content should be cached by CloudFront or the Zephr proxies.

The static asset cache has ~190 points of presence across 30 countries (at the time of writing); Zephr proxies are running in 14 data centres across 6 countries (UK, Ireland, US, Japan, India, Australia) with new data centres being added on an ongoing basis.
