You can do any of the following:
- Select the Send Password Reset Link to Email button to send the Password Reset Email to the user’s email address.
- Select the Generate Link button to generate a link, which is displayed in the text box beside the button. Select the text box to copy the link to your clipboard. Use this option if the end-user cannot receive the link through email, for example, if the email is blocked by a firewall.
- Select the Unlock this user checkbox to unblock a user who is currently blocked. Once selected, the user will be unblocked, and a password reset email will be sent to them.
If you select the Generate Link button, you must select the Back button after copying the link to return to the User Details screen.
- If sending the password reset link to email, a confirmation message displays. Select the Close button to return to the User Details screen.
The reset password link expires after 12 hours. If the end user does not reset their password within this period, you must generate a new link.
