Using reCAPTCHA on Registration Forms
When registering new users to Zephr, you have the option to use reCAPTCHA on your out-of-the-box registration forms.
reCAPTCHA is a system designed to establish that a computer user is a human, reducing the number of bots and fake accounts being created on your site, and protecting your site from spam and abuse.
Using reCAPTCHA with Zephr does not require your end users to do any additional work when creating an account. It is a seamless, automatic process.
Configuring reCAPTCHA with Zephr
To set up reCAPTCHA on your out-of-the-box registration forms, navigate to Settings > CDN > Google reCAPTCHA within the Zephr Admin Console.
Tick ‘Enable reCAPTCHA on registration forms’.
From here, you will have the option to choose the reCAPTCHA position – where on your registration form the reCAPTCHA logo will be displayed.
The reCAPTCHA logo can be seen below, and is required in order to link end users to the reCAPTCHA Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Your options for placement include:
Bottom Left
Locks the reCAPTCHA logo to the bottom left of a user’s screen.
Bottom Right
Locks the reCAPTCHA logo to the bottom right of a user’s screen.
Inline
Displays the reCAPTCHA logo below the registration form.
Hidden with T&C’s
Adds a line to your registration form, above the Register button, stating that reCAPTCHA is in use, and sharing links to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Once you have chosen your reCAPTCHA position, click Save. Following this, reCAPTCHA will be in use on all Zephr registration forms.
