Glide

The Glide Publishing Platform is an Agile CMS for content, product and marketing teams.

Zephr offers out-of-the-box integration with Glide in order to display Glide Collections of assets to users based on your Zephr Customer Journeys, such as adapting House Ads for anonymous users.

Configuring the Glide Plugin

To enable the Glide plugin within Zephr, navigate to Settings > Plugins > Glide. If you cannot see the Glide option in your list of Plugins, email support@zephr.com.

Once in the configuration screen for the Plugin, you will need to enter the following details:

  • API URL
  • x-capi-key
  • Taxonomy IDs for Collections

If you do not have the information for these available, contact your Glide representative.

Once complete, click Activate. When enabled, you will be able to use assets stored within Glide as Transformations in Zephr’s JSON Feature Rules.

Using Glide in Zephr Feature Rules

When correctly enabled, the Glide Plugin adds a new section to the Decision Points Palette within the Zephr Rules Canvas for JSON type Feature Rules.

Glide Collection with Rules Palette

To find this, navigate to Rules > Features Rules, then click New Feature.

Give your rule a name, then select JSON for the Rule Type.

Add the relevant Target Name, Operation and Target Value, and then build your rule as required.

When it comes to adding Transformations to your rule, you will find a new section for Glide Decision Points. Under this, select Glide Collection, and drag it onto your canvas. A drop-down list will appear with all available Collections for you to choose.

Selecting Glide Collection Asset for use in rule

Select the relevant asset and click Save, then connect the asset to the relevant part of your rule.

JSON Feature Rule Using Glide Collection Assets

Once complete, save and publish your rule as usual.
